Marlborough White Dozen

$216 WHITE
AVG $18.00

DAVID'S REVIEW:

This dozen is of course loaded with high quality Sauvignon Blanc as you would expect from a Marlborough white dozen. However we couldn’t go past including Pinot Gris and Chardonnay in the mix as well. I particularly think the Pinot Gris is some of the best available across both Australia and new Zealand.

ABOUT THE REGION:

There’s no question that Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc continues to be the leading light for Marlborough but it is clear that the most serious producers are diversifying their range. At our TOP 6 tasting there were outstanding examples of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer. I personally preferred a lot of these wines to the Sauvignon Blancs and I think the future is bright for Marlborough as a provider of a broad range of styles and grape varieties.
