1 x Lanzaga Tempranillo
2007
WHAT OTHERS THINK
From the higher plots of Telmo Rodriguez’s hillside near the village of Lanciego in Rioja’s Alavesa sub region. The fruit comes from tiny, herb-bordered old dry grown bush vines and very poor soil. Lanzaga spends 14 months in French Barrique and foudre. Cola/cherry stone/heather/animal skin perfumes. Terrific fruit/French oak synthesis. Spicy, nutty-slinky structure. If you could make Chianti from the jubier tendencies of Tempranillo, this would be it! Biodynamic vineyard Lanzaga Tempranillo 2007 Rioja wines
