Marlborough is located in the north east corner of New Zealand's south island and grape plantings extend across a wide area. Sauvignon Blanc is the leading light but Marlborough is keen not to be seen as a one trick region with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling and Pinot Gris all making their own lasting impressions.

Maybe it's the overwhelming reputation of its big brother, the Barossa Valley, that we don't hear much Eden Valley sales hype. Eden Valley sits confidently in the top bunk, perched overlooking its brother the Barossa from a high elevation that is the key to the elegance of its wines.
